Companies that produce wallets from cheap leather usually know little about the conditions under which their leather is manufactured. To ensure the low price of their wallets, oceans are polluted, people are poisoned, and animals are killed. The resulting leather is treated with chemical chrome tanning agents and is of inferior quality.
